Hey there! Thanks so much for stopping by. I’m Juliana Cameron, the Bondi Nanny.
As an Artist, Author, Educator and passionate advocate for health and wellbeing, I love sharing what I’ve learned. I hope you’ll enjoy your time here.
You may have noticed that my site covers a range of subjects. That’s because I love both learning and teaching and believe in the power of sharing ideas for a better world – my motivation for studying education and becoming the Bondi Nanny.
I believe we are all connected and that fostering meaningful relationships creates a powerful ripple effect.
“The same force that makes your heart beat, is exactly the same force that makes my heart beat.”
Dr Wayne Dyer
This website is for anyone involved in caring for and nurturing others. Aside from mums and dads, this includes early childhood educators, grandparents, friends, sisters and brothers, uncles and aunties, and live-in nannies.
The saying “It takes a village to raise a child” is so true. Perhaps now more than ever, our children need a network of supportive, caring people to help them grow into thriving, healthy adults.
If you’re involved in caring for children in any way, this is a place where you’ll find support, encouragement and helpful tips for caring for yourself, too. Self-care isn’t selfish! It’s about looking after yourself so you can connect deeply with others and give from your own store of goodness.
We can only give our best selves to children when we are in good physical health and topped up mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
I believe caring also extends to looking after adults, plus animals and our environment, which is why I’ve embraced a vegan lifestyle.
More about me
I studied Early Childhood Education and Care and have spent more than 10 years educating children of various ages across numerous settings.
I adore educating children and have cared for babies, toddlers, and pre-school and primary aged students. I’ve also worked with children who have special needs, including autism, asthma, language and speech delays and babies and toddlers who have breath-holding spells.
It’s been a privilege to work alongside families in educating their children. I’ve loved every moment and have had many amazing experiences. One of the highlights was working closely with a child psychologist during my time as a live-in nanny caring for two boys with autism.
I became known as ‘Mama 2’ and the boys’ mum thanked me for helping her feel like she had her life back. Being able to provide a valuable service means so much to me.
“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.”
Now, I’m also thrilled to be working with adult minds. I love inspiring people to interact with their inner child, and with other people, in a way that builds trust, empathy and therefore a better world.
I’ve also worked as a photographic model and have featured in publications including Zoo, Maxim, FHM, and the Body and Soul section of the Sunday Telegraph. One of my bikini pics was chosen to launch the Sports Illustrated Extra Mustard website.
